13 Pin Plug… the green cap arrives!

April 23, 2012 10:42 am

You may recall that in a previous post I said I had emailed a couple of distributors (Maypole & Grove Products) about the possibility of selling just the green caps, and I heard absolutely nothing back from them. Well, my next plan of attack was to contact Menber directly. Well that led me via Menber’s web site to a company called Capus (UK) Ltd who are the importers of Menber products into the UK. So yesterday (Sunday) I pinged off an email to them.

Coming to a distributor near you….

This morning (Monday) I received a phone call from a very nice chap called Stephen Geffen from Capus (UK) Ltd with a bit of news, Capus are importing just the green caps from Menber. (Remember – you heard it here first!)

The first two big orders are for Sargent’s Electrical and Pennine Leisure and they will have supplies in the next day or so. I would think that you should be able to order them via Sargents on line shop and from any of Pennine Leisure distributors soon. I have no idea on pricing, that’s down to the individual retailers. For all us Swift Group product owners, we are familiar with Sargents who are widely regarded as having one of the best customer services in the business (I’ll personally vouch for that!) and Pennine Leisure is one of the big guns of the leisure industry supplying dealers and accessory shops all over the UK, just click on their Dealer List to find the nearest one to you

Well, I think that hopefully that will stop most of the 13 Pin Puzzle problems, it seems a life time ago since I wrote about it in “Had Any 13 Pin Plug Problems” and I never expected it would generate so much interest, so much email from so many countries and be posted on so many forums, especially Caravan Talk, where the interest and support from the members has been great.

Thanks for reading,

S

PS… if you want to order yourself a huge batch of green plug caps… and we are talking of a minimum of one hundred here drop Stephen –  sgeffen ‘at’ capus.co.uk an email or contact him at Capus UK Limited, Unit B5, Staplehurst Lodge Industrial Estate, Staplehurst Road, Sittingbourne, Kent. ME10 1XP I’m sure he can do you a deal!
